Legal Notice
& Policies
The terms below govern access to and use of this website and the information it provides. They are drafted to apply, severably, under the laws of any jurisdiction in which this site is accessed.
01Imprint & Operator
This website is published by the KGD — Holy Church of Jesus Christ, Embassy ("the Embassy", "we", "us"), an institution maintaining three seats of equal standing at Vienna, Austria; Washington, D.C., United States; and Rome, Italy. Formal correspondence may be addressed to the Office of the Secretariat at the Embassy's registered seats.
Responsibility for content rests with the Office of the Secretariat. Where any statutory imprint, impressum or disclosure obligation applies in a given jurisdiction, this section is intended to satisfy it; specific registration particulars are available on lawful request.
02Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the site. We may revise these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
03Use of the Website
- The site and its contents are provided for general information only and do not constitute legal, financial, tax, immigration, or religious advice.
- You agree not to misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
- Access to restricted areas (including the Chancery) is permitted only to authorised, accredited persons.
04No Warranty & Limitation of Liability
The website is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Embassy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of, or inability to use, this website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
05Intellectual Property
All text, design, graphics, marks, seals and the arrangement thereof are the property of the Embassy or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. The "Mastercard" name and marks shown in product illustrations are the property of Mastercard International Incorporated and are used for illustrative purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission, save as permitted by mandatory law.
06Privacy & Data Protection
We respect the privacy of every visitor and process personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently. Our practices are designed to meet the standards of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and comparable frameworks worldwide, on a "highest-standard-applies" basis.
- Data we process: only what is necessary — server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and time of request) for security and operation, and any information you voluntarily provide.
- Purpose & basis: to operate and secure the site, on the basis of our legitimate interest, your consent, or compliance with a legal obligation.
- Sharing: we do not sell personal data. We use two processors. FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) relays the KGD FIN waiting-list address you submit to the Office of the Secretariat. Stripe (stripe.com) takes the annual contribution for Kingdom Citizenship: payment is made on Stripe’s own pages, and card details are entered there and held by Stripe — the Embassy never receives, sees or stores them. What we receive from Stripe is the fact of payment, the amount, the date and the name and email you gave, which we hold against your Register entry and keep for as long as the accounting law of the seat requires. Stripe processes some of this data outside the EEA under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Nothing else on this site transmits your data anywhere, and otherwise we disclose personal data only where required by law.
- Sovereignty, status and recognition: the Kingdom of God is sovereign, its authority underived and held from no earthly source; it seeks recognition from no state, and its nature, extent and acts are unaffected by the presence or absence of it. That sovereignty is not the sovereignty of a state. This Embassy asserts no statehood, claims no territorial sovereignty and no jurisdiction to the exclusion of any government, holds no diplomatic status, privilege or immunity conferred by any state, claims none, and has applied to no government for accreditation. Representatives of the Kingdom hold its own commission and carry its authority; they do not hold, and do not claim, the status or immunities that a receiving state accords to a diplomatic agent. It does not contest the authority of any state within that state’s territory, and nothing on this site is to be construed as a claim to be a state, an international organisation, a consular post or a diplomatic mission within the meaning of the Vienna Conventions or of any national law. No representation of recognition, accreditation, official status or state endorsement is made anywhere on this site, and nobody is authorised to make one on our behalf. Where any document we issue is described, it is described as what it is — an attestation of standing within this Church, of no civil effect.
- Paying: no payment is taken on this site itself and no card details are ever requested by email or telephone. The contribution is €111 a year, it renews annually, it can be cancelled at any time from the link on your receipt or by writing to the Secretariat, and a first payment may be withdrawn in full within fourteen days. The terms are set out on the Kingdom Citizenship page.
- Browser storage: this site sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts of any kind. It stores one value locally in your own browser — the jurisdiction you selected — so that the page opens as you left it, and one value for the session so the cursor does not flicker between pages. Neither leaves your device, neither is readable by us, and clearing your browser data removes them. Because they are strictly necessary to a function you asked for, no consent banner is required.
- Language and country detection: the site is published in English, with the two German-language pages served in German; there is no language switch and nothing about your browser’s language settings is read. The jurisdiction shown on arrival in the country selector is derived from your device’s own time zone, read locally. No IP-geolocation service is queried and no request is made to any third party to determine it.
- Retention: only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law.
- Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent, subject to applicable law. Requests are handled through the Office of the Secretariat.
07Cookies & Local Storage
This site is designed to function without non-essential tracking cookies. Where any storage is used, it is limited to what is strictly necessary for the site to operate or to remember a preference you have set. You can control storage through your browser settings.
08External Links
The site may link to third-party websites that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Following external links is at your own discretion and risk.
09Accessibility
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and to improve continuously. If you encounter a barrier, please notify the Office of the Secretariat so we can address it.
10Governing Law, Severability & Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by the laws applicable at the Embassy's seat of Vienna and, where relevant to United States access, those applicable at Washington, D.C., without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your place of residence. Where any provision is held invalid or unenforceable in a given jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force. This clause is intended to preserve the validity of these terms under the law of any jurisdiction in which the site is accessed.
11Contact
Questions concerning this notice may be directed to the Office of the Secretariat of the Embassy. A dedicated contact channel is being established and will be published here.
12KGD FIN — Regulatory Status
KGD FIN is a product concept in development. KGD is not a bank, credit institution, or licensed electronic-money institution, and does not currently accept deposits, issue cards, or provide payment services. Any future services will be provided through duly licensed and regulated partner institutions, and this page will be updated to identify them. Card visuals, numbers, IBANs and BICs shown on this site are specimens for illustration only and cannot be used for payments. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer, solicitation, or financial advice. The "Mastercard" marks belong to Mastercard International Incorporated and are used illustratively; no issuing relationship currently exists.
13Accessibility
This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA. Every page carries a skip link and a main landmark, the navigation and every control work from the keyboard alone, colour contrast is checked against AA at the sizes used, motion respects prefers-reduced-motion, and the full content of every page — including the jurisdiction tables — is readable with JavaScript disabled. If you meet a barrier anywhere on this site, write to the Office of the Secretariat at inquiries@kgd-embassy.org and describe what you were trying to do; we will fix it and reply.

Typefaces: Helvetica Neue and Courier New, called from the reader’s own system. This site serves no webfonts and embeds no font files, so it neither copies nor redistributes either typeface; where a system does not carry them, the browser substitutes its own — Helvetica, Arial or the platform equivalent — and the page is designed to hold at those metrics.
